What is the best way to fix my lawn?
Here at Just A Trim Lawn Care we not only want your lawn to look good. We want the lawn to flourish! We have struggled here in south east Georgia to maintain a fresh looking lawn for YEARS. The hurricanes and constant rain overwatering, the weeds that will grow if left unkept for too long, not mowing enough, or not mowing correctly. We did it all before we started our business and got our yard looking and feeling so good! So we wanted to provide y'all with some tips and tricks to get your lawn looking and feeling beautiful again.
How often should I mow?
Once a week is recommended but sometimes its good to cut your grass 2-3 times a week if its not spreading or weeds are growing.
How tall should I cut my grass?
Your grass is gonna experience the best growth and keeping weeds away if you keep it between 2.5-3.5 inches.
What is Aeration?
Aeration is the process of poking holes in your soil to allow more water and nutrients to penetrate the roots.
Here at Just A Trim Lawn Care we use spiked shoes and push mow your grass to aerate the yard and make it full again.
How's your soil pH?
Checking your soil pH should be close to your last step when trying to get your yard to grow its just a hassle to get your soil pH balanced(in my personal experience). However if you've tried all of the options above and your yard still isn't growing or feeling how you'd like it to this should be where you're at.

Does your yard need nutrients?
If you noticed that your yard isn't growing much around spring time you should check on your soils nutrients and see what's happening in the roots.

We always mow at 3 inches and we recommend a minimum of 2 cuts a month for grass health but if you're someone who loves their lawn and wants the best we recommend our monthly lawn care specialist package for only $160 a month we come out 4 times for full service cut weed eat and edge treatment clean up and bag as well as once a month lawn aeration mow and hedge trimming as needed!
